Rumor: Samsung Galaxy S5 To Go In Mass Production In January 2014



According to the latest reports which came from South Korea Samsung is planning to start the mass production of its alleged smartphone dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S5. And its said that the company will produce around 800,000 to 1 million units of the phone, which is expected to increase to 8-10 million by March of 2014.

Galaxy S5 is likely to go on sale in February or March of 2014. And news coming from ET News suggest there will be two variants of S5 one of which will come with metal body and curved display, another with plastic body and non-flexible AMOLED display. 

Samsung Galaxy S5 likely to be powered by a 64-bit Exynos octa-core processor and a 5-inch display. Its features also includes a 16MP rear camera, 3GB of RAM, 4000 mAh battery, and an Android 4.4 KitKat platform.

Along with it ET News also mentioned that Samsung will also reveal the next-generation Galaxy Gear watch with Galaxy S5

Samsung Galaxy S4 VS HTC One Max


Samsung Galaxy S 4 is the fastest selling Android phone ,powers a 5-inches super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (1080x1920). Under the hood there is a Exynos 5Ocata 5410 Octa core processor with a 2GB of RAM. While HTC One Max the latest flagship of HTC delivers a 5.9-inches full HD screen with 1080x1920 pixles. Android 4.4 KitKat Update Rolling Out For Samsung Galaxy S 4 And HTC One


Finally, Android 4.4 KitKat update is rolling out for both Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One. Google today unveiled this news via Android page on Google+, which means the update is currently available now. 

 Earlier only the Moto X, Nexus (5, 7, 10, 4) users got the update but now the update has come to Samsung Galaxy S 4 and HTC OneThis time the update is only available for Google Play edition users and the regular version of will receive the KitKat update at a later date says Google.

The update bring new features to the operating system including an updated version of Google Now, updated dialler app a restyled taskbar, improved multitasking, Hangouts integration with SMS/MMS and much more.

Nexus 5 VS Xperia Z


Nexus 5 as we all know launched recently along with Android's new operating system Android 4.4 KitKat. Nexus 5 delivers an intelligently simple design and showcases a stunning full HD display and is available in two color variants: Black and White.

 While Xperia Z was officially announced in January earlier this year which is a dust and water resistant device. 5-inches Sony's Xperia Z is powered by Sony’s Mobile Bravia 2 engine and Gorilla Glass.

Nexus 5 comes with a 4.95-inch 1920×1080 display (445 ppi), Corning Gorilla Glass 3. As it features a 5-inch screen the phone itself is pretty large. The phone is lite in weight in comparison to Nexus 4 and all other Nexus devices. The phone measures 69.17 x 137.84 x 8.59 mm and weighs around 130gm. As we all know that there is no microSD card slot so you have to manage with the internal storage only.

While Xperia Z features a 5-inches 1920x1080 pixels display with Sony’s Mobile Bravia 2 engine and Gorilla Glass. The phone in comparison to Nexus 5 is pretty heavier as it weighs around 146gm. Dimensions of the phone are 139 x 71 x 7.9 mm which means the handset is 7.9mm slim. If we see overall design of the phone, it is a bit boring. If we talk about camera Nexus 5 packs a 1.3MP front facing camera; 8MP rear facing with OIS while Xperia Z packs a 13 megapixel Exmor RS camera with Auto focus and flash and 2.2 MP, Exmor R, front facing camera (1080p).


Storage and Battery


Nexus 5 as we all know does not have any microSD card slot so we have to manage with internal storage only. The device comes in two versions: 16GB or 32GB, so you can choose according to your need.Nexus 5 features a 2300mAh of battery. While Xperia Z packs a microSD card slot which is expandable upto 32GB and a 2300mAh of battery is also there.

Nexus 4 VS Nexus 5


Google officially announced its latest flagship smartphone Nexus 5 at a press conference which held on Thursday. Along with it Google also released Android's latest operating system i.e Android 4.4 KitKatNexus 5 is successor to Google's Nexus 4, which revealed last year. Both Nexus 5 and Nexus 4 are best deal for those looking for a value for money performance Android smartphone.

Nexus 4 is powered by a 4.7-inch WXGA IPS HD (1280x768p) display with corning Gorilla Glass where as Nexus 5 features a 4.95-inch 1920 x 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
