Sony Xperia Z2 User Interface Leaked

As we all know Sony has been working on its Xperia Z2 flagship which the company would be launching next month at MWC. From past few months the device is rumoring a lot, and today we got our hands over some leaked images of Xperia Z2 user interface.
On seeing the leaked images of the user interface we noticed that there have been some changes made in the launcher of the interface, new themes, options for notification from the Personalization menu, and some new icons in the Quick Setting page have been added. Along with the user interface some clear image of the Xperia Z2 also leaked.
As per the rumors suggests Sony Xperia Z2 will feature a 5.2 inches of HD display (1080p resolution), a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, a faster Adreno 330 GPU, a 20.7 megapixels camera shooter and will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.

MWC: Sony Xperia Z2 Rumored To Be Announced Next Month

Sony alleged to launch its Xperia Z2 handset next month at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona.

As per the rumors suggest, Sony Xperia Z2 will power a 5.2-inch IGZO Triluminous display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (550 ppi). The handset is expected to come with a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and with a 3GB of RAM.

Coming to its camera, Xperia Z2 will pack a 20.87MP Sony Exmor RS sensor, with 4K video recording support and a 2 megapixel Sony Exmor R sensor front. The device will run on the latest Android KitKat operating system. And like its predecessor it will have both dust and water resistant.

Nexus 5 VS Xperia Z


Nexus 5 as we all know launched recently along with Android's new operating system Android 4.4 KitKat. Nexus 5 delivers an intelligently simple design and showcases a stunning full HD display and is available in two color variants: Black and White.

 While Xperia Z was officially announced in January earlier this year which is a dust and water resistant device. 5-inches Sony's Xperia Z is powered by Sony’s Mobile Bravia 2 engine and Gorilla Glass.


Design


Nexus 5 comes with a 4.95-inch 1920×1080 display (445 ppi), Corning Gorilla Glass 3. As it features a 5-inch screen the phone itself is pretty large. The phone is lite in weight in comparison to Nexus 4 and all other Nexus devices. The phone measures 69.17 x 137.84 x 8.59 mm and weighs around 130gm. As we all know that there is no microSD card slot so you have to manage with the internal storage only.

While Xperia Z features a 5-inches 1920x1080 pixels display with Sony’s Mobile Bravia 2 engine and Gorilla Glass. The phone in comparison to Nexus 5 is pretty heavier as it weighs around 146gm. Dimensions of the phone are 139 x 71 x 7.9 mm which means the handset is 7.9mm slim. If we see overall design of the phone, it is a bit boring. Morover its the first smartphone to sport a Full HD (1920 x 1080) display.

Specs


Specs of Nexus 5 are pretty good as the handset is powered by Android's all new operating system Android 4.4 KitKat. Nexus 5 features includes a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with a 2GB of RAM. Its connectvity option includes: microUSB, SlimPort enabled, 3.5mm stereo audio jack, Dual microphones, Ceramic power and volume buttons. 

While Sony's Xperia Z which is a dust and water resistant smartphone is powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 2GB of RAM. The phone runs on an Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Its connectivity option includes a 3.5 mm audio jack (CTIA), aGPS, Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology, DLNA Certified, GLONASS ,HDMI via MHL support, Media Go, Media Transfer Protocol support, Micro USB support, Native USB tethering, NFC, PC Companion, Screen mirroring, USB charging, Wi-Fi and WiFi Hotspot functionality.

Camera


If we talk about camera Nexus 5 packs a 1.3MP front facing camera; 8MP rear facing with OIS while Xperia Z packs a 13 megapixel Exmor RS camera with Auto focus and flash and 2.2 MP, Exmor R, front facing camera (1080p).


Storage and Battery


Nexus 5 as we all know does not have any microSD card slot so we have to manage with internal storage only. The device comes in two versions: 16GB or 32GB, so you can choose according to your need.Nexus 5 features a 2300mAh of battery. While Xperia Z packs a microSD card slot which is expandable upto 32GB and a 2300mAh of battery is also there.

Price Details


There is not much price difference between Nexus 5 and Sony Xperia Z. Nexus 5 is priced at $349 for the 16GB variant while the 32GB model costs at $399. While Xperia Z price is getting down now you can have the Xperia Z for around $500.

Sony Xperia i1 'Honami' rumored to power a 20-MP camera



Sony's alleged Xperia i1 Honami specs leaked online, a Taiwanese site ePrice claiming that the device will power a 5-inch 1080p HD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-series processor and NFC technology.

The device is rumored to have a 20.7-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera and features a 3000mAh battery with Sony's Stamina Mode — a feature that can automatically save battery by shutting down apps when the screen is off.

But these specs are still rumors, but Sony will officially unveil the specs at press conference in Berlin, Germany, on Sept. 4.
