Rumored Specs Of Samsung Galaxy S5

Samsung Galaxy S5 the successor to the company's fastest selling smartphone Galaxy S4 is rumored to debut in Jan, Feb, March or even April of 2014.

If we go back and see Samsung has release its S2 in May, 2011 and same in its footsteps S3 was released in May 2012. S4 shown its presence in March and was released in April, 2013. But S5 doesn't seems to go like that as rumors are coming indicating that S5 may debut in Jan or at MWC in February. As we all know Samsung was very disappointed with its S4 sales, so there might be a chance that we will get first glimpse of S5 by March 2014.

All Samsung Galaxy S series came with a plastic body, but there might be a chance that we will see a metal body in the upcoming S5 flagship. Metal body simply means a heavier and a more expansive device and an end to removable battery. All S series have almost same design and this time we can that Samsung S5 will surely bring a new design as it could ditch the home button and dopt a new angular form factor.

Like iPhone 5S, Galaxy S5 will also feature a 64-bit processor and according to the reports from Digital Daily, S5 could sport an Exynos 6 processor, a new 14nm chip with 64-bit support and ARM’s Cortex A53/A57 Big.Little octa-core configuration. We can ensure you that this time Samsung will provide a much better performance and with 3GB or 4GB of RAM company must be aiming the top rank in performance benchmarks.

Samsung is best known for its camera quality as if you are looking for a smartphone with a good camera than go for Samsung smartphone it will be worth buying them. We have seen a 13MP camera in S4, we can predict that company will at least use a 16MP camera in its new flagship.

According to latest reports, S5 might use an eye-scanning sensor it will help the user to unlock the phone and will do all the things that a fingerprint scanner does. This will up the level of the security to the mark where it has never reached before. But its still a rumor we can't say that the company will surely use this new concept.

If we talk about on what operating system the device will run? This time we can't say anything as S5 might be powered by a Android 4.4 KitKat or Samsung will use its own Tizen operating system. There's also a chance that company will reveal two models: one with Android 4.4 OS and other with Tizen OS.

Samsung has already use waterproof technology in its Galaxy 4 Active flagship, its said that company might take one step further and will bring dust and water proof technology with its new upcoming S5 flagship.

This time we just have this much of specs. Stay tuned with us for more!

8-inch iPad Mini rumored to have 2 microphones

iPad Mini Prototype rumored to have 2 microphones which are located in the top-middle of rear shell of 8-inch tablet. The microphone are usually used for noise-canceling and to improve audio pickup. We come to know about this by looking at some new pictures of a 8-inch iPad Mini.

”According to our sources, Apple had originally planned to incorporate what appears to be a second microphone in the recent version of the iPad mini.

The photos show the prototype iPad mini with an extra hole centered, atop the rear of the device. It is unclear as to why Apple withheld the second microphone from the final product release, my guesses would be that it was axed out to cut down on cost, or to be preserved for a future generation iPad mini.” -
says Sonny Dickson, who has provided accurate intel and photos of leaked components in the pas.

And on seen the leaked pics the rumors can never be materialized, as the production version of the first-gen mini does not have a hole in the top of its rear casing.

Thus this rumor explains many things, firstly it validates the reports that claimed the iPad mini would have a rear mic and secondly it explains all those mini cases with the holes in their backs. But this is not good for Apple as they must have planned to pull all this at last time.

The best thing is the iPad 5 will have rear mic located one located right next to its rear camera, so we expect the next-gen mini will too have.

Dickson says that typically, prototypes are stolen by Foxconn workers and sold to Chinese case manufactures for a price in upwards of 38,000 RMB, or about $6000 USD.
